Business Continuity Plan
Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Following the Government announcement to implement strict new measures on personnel movements amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we wish to inform or customers that we have implemented an ongoing business continuity plan. We hope this provides some level of assurance and clarity at this difficult time.
In line with the Government position, we are currently still providing inspection and service calls on site, and we are following Public Health England and Public Health Wales guidance on social distancing as well as additional procedures we have put in place to protect our service providers.
All of our office staff are working from home and are contactable on their mobiles.
Our equipment is deployed to treat and control harmful, gram-negative, water-borne pathogens, the most well known of which is of course legionella. Notwithstanding that some legal requirements may have changed The Health and Safety at Work Act remains in force during the outbreak and risks still need to be managed. Now, more than ever, it’s important to be mindful about Legionella control. Any illness that affects the respiratory system, if combined with COVID-19, will in all likelihood have a high mortality rate and Legionnaires’ Disease is one such illness.
This is clearly an evolving situation and we are continuing to reassess where we are on an almost hourly basis but, for the time being, we keep going.
We will of course communicate any changes to our position following further Government announcements.
Should you have any questions or require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
